GulliverPrep Rowing Program
GulliverPrep has set up its "new" rowing program in conjunction with Miami International RowHouse with training and competitive rowing opportunities starting this fall. Participation in rowing at MIRH is registration based and there are limited spots available.
More specifically, participating in the rowing program through MIRH includes:
Level of Participants: Middle School (Grades 6-8) and Upper School (Grades 9-12)
Seasons: Fall (Oct - Dec), Spring (Jan-May)
Middle School: (fall - Tues & Thurs - 2 times a week) (spring Tues & Thurs - 2 times per week)
Upper School: (fall - Mon, Weds & Fri 3 times a week) (spring - Mon, Weds & Fri - 3 times a week)
Practice Times: 4:30-6:30 pm
Practice Location: Miami International RowHouse, 6201 Tamiami Canal Road, Miami, FL 33126
Transportation (required) - round-trip bus service from Gulliver to MIRH with pick up at Middle School or Upper School location depending on the days noted above.
Billing/charges to be handled with the parents by accounting department at GulliverPrep
What to wear and bring to practice: Wear tight fitting/exercise shorts/pants, exercise shirt, socks and sneakers, visor/cap, sunglasses, sunscreen, water bottle and sports drink for hydration. Please do not share drinking bottles.
