Try it. You'll Love it!
A great chance to quickly learn more about the sport of rowing and give it a try in a group boat with coaching. Middle School, High School students and adults are welcome to come and learn about rowing. Join in the team spirit and meet some of our current junior team members and adult rowers. The fun starts the minute you get in a boat.

"Learn to Row” Program I:
Age Group: Middle School and High School rowers
Wednesdays 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Cost: $150 per rower for 3 consecutive Wednesday sessions
"Learn to Row” Program II:
Age Group: Adults
Wednesdays 5:30- 7:00 pm

What to bring/wear for the "Learn to Row" sessions:
​
Tight fitting shorts, shirt, socks, sneakers, sun block, hat or visor, towel, water bottle.
There are two showers at RowHouse if you want to get changed before or after rowing.

Payment:

Bring your check with you to hand to coach before start of first session.

WHAT IS NEXT ?
Options After Completing the "Learn to Row" Session:
​
For Middle School and High School Rowers:
​
1) Sign up for one session to go out on coach’s launch for a junior team rowing day. No Charge.
2) Go out in a boat with the novice junior rowers during team practice.
Cost $25.00 per day for up to 5 trial days to learn with the team.
3) On or before the 5th trial day, the Junior Rower can sign up to join the team and have the daily charge paid credited to the cost to join the team.

For Adults:

1) Sign up with the coach for a Saturday or Sunday ride in the launch to see a masters row. No charge.
2) Adult Novice Rowers can row with the masters. Cost $25.00 per trial day with up to 5 trial days before joining the Masters program.
3) On or before the 5th trial day, the Adult rower can sign up to join the masters team and have the daily charge paid
credited to the cost to join the team.
