GulliverPrep has set up its "new" rowing program in conjunction with Miami International RowHouse with training and competitive rowing opportunities.
Grade Levels: Middle School (Grades 6-8) and Upper School (Grades 9-12)
Seasons: Spring (Jan - Early May), Summer (June - Early August), Fall (End of August - end of November)
Spring Program: Middle School starts Tues Jan 17 and Upper School starts Weds Jan 18.
Spring Program Ends May 5.
Note: Following dates subject to change:
Weekly Summer Program: Monday June 12 - August 4
Fall Program: Monday August 21 for Upper School and August 22 for Middle School. Ends November 17.
Practice Days:
Middle School: (spring Tues & Thurs - 2 times per week) (summer M - Fri 5 days) (fall - Tues & Thurs - 2 times a week)
Upper School: (spring - Mon, Weds & Fri - 3 times a week plus Tues and Thurs as requested by parent/rower at no additional cost) (summer M - Fri 5 days) (fall - Mon, Weds & Fri 3 times a week plus Tues and Thurs as requested by parent/rower at no additional cost)
Practice Times: 4:30 - 6:30 pm (spring, summer and fall)
Practice Location: Miami International RowHouse, 6201 Tamiami Canal Road, Miami, FL 33126
Billing/charges to be handled by accounting department at GulliverPrep
What to wear and bring to practice: Wear tight fitting/exercise shorts/pants, exercise or tee shirt, socks and sneakers, visor/cap, sunglasses, sunscreen, water bottle and sports drink for hydration. Please do not share drinking bottles.
