Masters Rowing Program
Practice is daily 6-10 am. We have a team of competitive masters who row singles, doubles, quads, and fours as well as masters who row non-competitively. All must sign a waiver including confirmation of swimming ability and the COVID-19 Protocol. ( See pdf forms attached below)
Pricing:
$300 one time registration fee
$125 per month (if using your own boat)
$175 ($125 +$50) per month if using the MIRH boat
Payment:
If you do not own a boat and need to start first with coached lessons then you need to contact Head Coach Franky at cell# 305 710-8362 to arrange lesson time and cost.
For all approved to row, NEW rowers the one time registration fee of $300 plus first month's membership fee is due before you can come to row on your own at Miami RowHouse.
First time payments are due by using VENMO @Miami-Rowhouse
All monthly payments are due no later than the first of each month by VENMO or placing your check in the payment box at the club.
Times for Miami RowHouse approved club owned boat usage.
( M-F 6:00 am - 3:30 pm and Saturday 6-9 am and Sunday all day are approved times for use of Miami RowHouse boats for which Head Coach Franky has approved you to use.)
Approval Process for Use of Miami RowHouse Owned Boats
A novice rower who wants to row a club boat will need to take about at least lessons to then be qualified by the Head Coach to row a club boat. Any experienced rower will need to take a rowing test or give proof of rowing level to qualify to row the club boat.
Club Boat Damage:
Any rower using a club owned boat agrees to pay for any repair cost not covered by insurance if they damage the boat or oars.
Boat Donation:
For those with their own boat, we accept boat donations and can provide a tax receipt as a 501c3 non profit.
Coaching:
Private and group coaching is available upon request.
Pricing for Guest Rowers/ Friends of Members:
$30.00 per day using club boat or using member's boat. Maximum # of times for same guest rower is 3.
Club rowing waiver must be signed before rowing for guest rower
New rowers who would like to try the sport are welcome. Learn to row classes are available upon request. Minimum of 3-5 participants to schedule a learn to row session.
Private lessons for new rowers also available upon request.
IMPORTANT: Every Master rower needs to sign the June 17, 2020 PROTOCOL FOR THE RETURN TO ROWING and the "new" COVID-19 Liability Waiver , swimming waiver and the general RH waiver documents before coming to RowHouse to row.
