Congratulations to our rowing team for their racing spirit and teamwork at the regatta.
Eden Alfi won a gold medal in the HS Girls 1x by 6 boat lengths in her flight and best time overall out of all four flights. Sabrina Fernandez won a bronze in her HS Girls 1x flight. Together they won a gold medal in the Girls HS 2x.

Eden's remarkable journey in the world of rowing began at the age of 9 under the expert guidance of Head Coach Francisco Viacava at the Miami International RowHouse. Eden has achieved national recognition in the U17 category while primarily excelling in the single scull discipline. CONGRATULATIONS EDEN ON BEING RECRUITED AND SELECTED IN YOUR JUNIOR YEAR!

Elinor Afl, from Gulliver Prep on the left will be attending Northeastern University and Sabrina Fernandez from OLLA on the right has committed to the Rowing Team at Nova Southeastern University D2 and Class of 2028 in Biology. Both rowers have been rowing with Head Coach Francisco Viacava for the past several years.
At the Novice Regatta on Feb 3, 2024, the team took home 20 medals. Congratulations!
