You did it! You competed in the 2020 Olympics and made history in your 1x races for your countries.
Making History at the 2020 Olympics!
Congratulations to our RowHouse Olympic team. You worked extraordinarily hard with Coach Franky to achieve your dream of becoming an Olympian. Few ever have that chance to achieve such greatness in the sport of rowing.
Alvaro is the first Peruvian 1x rower at an Olympics to qualify top 3 in his Heat to go directly to the Quarterfinals;
win his Semi-Final race that placed him in the C Final; and
finish w/ Peru's best 1x world rowing rank of 17th place.
Veronica is the first rower (female or male) to compete in a 1x in the Olympics for Puerto Rico.
She also qualified in the top 3 in her Heat to go directly to the Quarterfinals.
Veronica finished 23rd in her historic Olympic Finals race.
