Veronica Toro Arana, training at RowHouse to be the first female to ever
row for Puerto Rico at the Olympics, is now offering tutoring, college essay
review, and interview prep services for our athletes.

Veronica is an MIT 2016 graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Biological
Engineering, and a current Medical Student at Stanford. She has completed
her first two years of Medical School and is now on a two year sabbatical
conducting research for the Stanford Cardiovascular Biomechanics
Computational Lab while training at RowHouse.

Veronica has 8 years of experience tutoring students of various levels- from first grade children
learning to read all the way to MIT students studying organic chemistry. She is a well-versed
teacher in a variety of Math and Science subjects, and loves to teach languages. She is fully
fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese.
​
Additionally, Veronica has extensive experience in the field of college and scholarship
application writing. Not only has she been accepted at over twenty well-known Universities and
Medical Schools, but she was also selected as a Finalist for both the Rhodes and Marshall
scholarships. As a trained interviewer for Stanford Medical School, Veronica can also provide
guidance to students seeking to practice for their college interviews.
