SPECIAL NOTES:  OLLA Rowing NEW and EXISTING Rowers -

School Athletic Requirements-

Each rower/parent must complete the OLLA PRIVIT and Medical forms and have school confirmation of completion before they can begin rowing for the fall rowing season. Please start early to complete the process.

For existing and new rower registration and payment with MIRH, the following forms need to be completed before the start of the fall rowing season and emailed to miamirowhouse@gmail.com

Payment Process:

Payment for the fall season. Link for payment.

First payment due before start of rowing season on or before Saturday, August 24, 2024

(Racing uniforms, merchandise, regatta fees, food, travel and hotels are not included)

Insurance Coverage for Rower: 

Each rower needs to have a USRowing BASIC membership # for $25

For Team Name, type OLLA and select and click Our Lady of Lourdes Academy, Miami, FL #11950 .  If you are asked for a "Club Code", enter 7DBAW .

Be sure to sign the USRowing Waiver at the same time.

NO REFUNDS AFTER CLASS START DATE. NO EXCEPTIONS. Payment schedule is set with first payment due on or before August 24 (Saturday) and the second payment is due Tuesday, October 1. Committing to the fall season is a commitment for both payments.​

Items to Wear and Bring with You:

Important: Rowers  should arrive at MIRH dressed ready to row in their spandex shorts like those by Nike, Reebok, and others and a t-shirt with socks and sneakers.

Bring a water bottle with their name on it, hat/visor (optional), wearing sunblock.

Fall 2024 Racing Calendar and Spring Racing calendar shown below:

Incoming rowers will learn how to row and may start racing during the spring season 2025 at coaches' discretion.

Head of Indian Creek- past season and new summer camp rowers will be considered for racing at this event.

Coach Franky would appreciate all team rowers and their parents attend to learn more about rowing and racing and to cheer on the team.
Note: Plan to be onsite at the regatta venue by 2:00 pm on the day before racing starts .ie. If the regatta is scheduled for a Saturday, practice will be Friday afternoon.
